Ryan is an entrepreneur and executive who has founded, grown and exited businesses in technology and food services. After earning his MBA from the University of Toronto in 2003, he began his career in investment banking before founding Mainstreet Advisors, where he continues to finance and advise private and public companies, often serving as CEO or CFO.

He is a co-founder/owner of Tacofino Cantina, which has expanded from a single food truck in Tofino to 13 locations across British Columbia, and Superbaba, now opening its third location. In 2013, Ryan co-founded and re-launched Foodee as CEO, driving rapid growth that earned Deloitte Fast 50 recognition in 2017, 2018, and 2019. Following its 2021 acquisition by Sodexo, Foodee now serves over 4,000 corporate clients in major North American cities through more than 1,000 owner-operated restaurant partners. Ryan currently leads retail food strategy and partnerships for Sodexo USA.

Named to BC500’s Most Influential People in both 2022 and 2023, Ryan also serves on the board of The Presidents Group, advocating for accessible employment for individuals with disabilities. He lives with his family in Vancouver’s Mount Pleasant neighborhood.
